Backpacking Gear Reviews

Checking backpacking gear reviews is a great way to get the feel of a piece of gear before you buy. You can learn a lot from other people's mistakes and other people's successes as well.

I have broken down the gear reviews into some categories to make them a little easier to navigate.

When selecting a piece of backpacking gear, it is important to consider a few things.

These things to consider will include:

  • WEIGHT (Is it worth its weight?)

  • BULK (Will I be able to fit this in my pack?)

  • $$$$$ (Can I afford this?)

  • FUNCTION (Do I really need this?)

Beyond these considerations everything else comes down to personal style and preference.
